In the early 70’s, Ullfrotté Original was developed in collaboration with the Swedish military, scientists, doctors, and survival experts. The first Ullfrotté garments were produced in 1972. “ Ullfrotté Original was first developed by Woolpower AB in Östersund, Sweden during the early 1970’s in collaboration with the Swedish military. The result: a garment providing superior insulation and effective moisture management.

Merino wool is naturally delicate. 400 g/m² material is Woolpower's mid-level weight fabric made from Ullfrotté Original.
